En este puesto, serás responsable de recibir a los huéspedes, trabajar en la recepción del hotel, tomar pedidos del restaurante/bar, cocinar los platos del menú, servir comidas y bebidas, mantener la limpieza de la cocina y realizar tareas de limpieza ligera.

Buscamos a una persona trabajadora y con actitud positiva, extrovertida, con capacidad de trabajo en equipo, honesta, confiable, educada, amigable, con iniciativa y respetuosa. Se requiere experiencia previa en hoteles, restaurantes o atención al cliente. Se valora el dominio del español y el inglés.

Responsabilidades del puesto

• Recibir a los huéspedes, compartir información sobre nuestro hotel y restaurante, responder preguntas.
• Facilitar el proceso de registro de entrada y salida, brindando un servicio al cliente de primera clase. Tomar pedidos de comida, preparar los platos del menú, servir la comida y recoger los platos.
• Tomar pedidos de bebidas, prepararlas, servirlas y recoger los vasos.
• Ayudar a mantener las áreas de cocina y bar organizadas, limpias y funcionando eficientemente.
• Preparar los alimentos utilizando los procedimientos adecuados de manipulación, saneamiento y almacenamiento de alimentos.
• Mantener los inventarios de la cocina y el bar y lavar los platos y vasos con regularidad.
• Preparar y entregar las facturas de los clientes y cobrar los pagos.
• Limpiar las habitaciones del hotel, lavar la ropa y ayudar con otras tareas de limpieza cuando se solicite.

Este puesto es de tiempo completo con 48 horas semanales y un día libre entre semana.

In this role, you will be responsible for greeting guests, working hotel reception, taking restaurant/bar orders, cooking menu items, serving food and drinks, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and doing light housekeeping.

We are looking for a hard worker with a positive attitude who is outgoing, team-oriented, honest, dependable, polite, friendly, self-motivated, and respectful. Previous hotel, restaurant, or customer service experience is required. Ability to speak both Spanish and English is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, share information about our hotel and restaurant, answer questions.
• Facilitate check-in and check-out process, providing top notch customer service.Take food orders, prepare menu items, serve food, and clear dishes.
• Take drink orders, make drinks, serve drinks, and clear glasses.
• Help keep the kitchen and bar areas organized, clean, and running efficiently.
• Prep food using proper food handling, sanitation and food storage procedures.
• Maintain kitchen and bar inventories and regularly wash dishes and glasses.
• Prepare and deliver customer bills and collect payment.
• Clean hotel rooms, do laundry, and help with other housekeeping tasks upon request.

This is a full-time position with 48 hours per week and one weekday off.

If you are looking for an affordable way to "live on the beach" in Las Peñitas, Nicaragua - this opportunity might be for you!

We are looking for a responsible person to live at our hotel - for at least one month - to keep an eye on the place outside of staffed business hours, primarily on weekends, and help with English/Spanish translation between guests and staff. The ideal candidate would be independent, honest, friendly, good with people, able to speak English fluently with some Spanish, willing to spend weekend nights on the property, and assist our small hospitality team if needed at peak times. We could also use some help with remodeling and/or landscaping projects depending on volunteer interest and skillset.

We will provide a small, private room with a bed, sheets, pillow, towels, mini fridge, microwave, fan, private bathroom with toilet and shower. Electricity, high-speed internet and drinking water are included. 

As a volunteer, you will have access to hotel facilities, including pool, public bathrooms, outdoor showers, outdoor seating and eating areas, and the beach. You will also get discounted prices on food and drinks ordered from our restaurant.
